Edam - Traditional Dutch cheese
Edam is a delicious, semi-hard and very traditional Dutch cheese with an international reputation. Original Edam is made from cow’s milk, has a satisfying full flavour and is eaten while still immature. The minimum fat percentage of Edam is 40%, and it is often made in balls and packed in red paraffin.
The soft flavour of Edam cheese
Edam is made using traditional Dutch methods, producing an elastic, supple cheese that is soft in flavour.
Packaged Edam
We supply both foil-ripened Edam (in quantities of 3 kg and 15 kg) and naturally-ripened Edam (in 15 kg blocks, balls, slices, pieces or grated). Edam can also be ordered as Mimolette: a variety of Edam that is orange-red in colour.
